Jellicle cats come out to-night. Jellicle cats come one, come all. The Jellicle Moon is shining bright. Jellicles come to the Jellicle Ball. Broadway At Iroquois continues their season with the Andrew Lloyd Webber favorite CATS at the Iroquois Amphitheater. Inspired by the poetry of T. S. Eliot, CATS creates a magical world of song and dance as the cats gather and await their leader, the wise Old Deuteronomy, who will choose which of the Jellicle Cats will journey tonight to the Heavyside layer to be “reborn”; into a new life. Through a dazzling score, Broadway legend Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber (Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar) conjures a host of memorable characters including, Rum Tug Tugger, Mister Mistoffelees, and Grizabella, the Glamour Cat; singing the classic showtune, “Memory”. Performed in over twenty countries and translated into ten languages, CATS is the second longest running musical in Broadway history (Phantom of the Opera is number one). Featuring some of the finest dancers in the region, CATS is directed and choreographed by Suzanne Costello, Artistic co-director of Stuart Pimsler Dance & Theater in Minneapolis, MN. Suzanne has an extensive resume that spans the world, and has worked with such theater companies as Metro Theater Company, Billy Siegenfeld & Dancers, and David Gordon Pick Up Co.
